A code works once and expires after 30 minutes.

OpenAI API key

Get one at platform.openai.com/api-keys. What GPT does for you is billed to your OpenAI account, usually a few cents a question; a ChatGPT plan doesn't include it. The key is stored encrypted and never shown again.
